Silgan employees give back

Silgan Containers believes strongly in giving back to the communities in which it has a presence—both corporately and at the plant level.

The company has participated in the United Way campaign since 1988 and is proud to report 100 percent corporate employee participation at its Woodland Hills, CA office in 2007. Silgan also matches its employee contributions dollar for dollar.

The spirit of giving is also very strong at the grassroots level. Plant management and employees across the country have given both time and money to champion various causes that are important to the individual community. Beneficiary organizations include:

In addition to charitable organizations, company employees participate in a variety of civic and social events in their communities.
